insurance agents. MSG Personal Lines Agency, LLC collects this necessary

as our agency questionnaires, may include, but is not limited to, your
name, address, and date of birth.
- Information about our clients’ transactions with us, this information,
may include, but is not limited to, claims and payment history.
- Information we receive from a consumer-reporting agency, this information
may include, but is not limited to a driving record or insurance score
report. To collect customer information from the above-stated sources,
MSG Personal Lines Agency may use the following means of communication
to gather information: written, in-person, telephone, facsimile, electronically,
and online.
- How we share client information with non-affiliated third parties:
We don’t share information about our customers or former customers with
non-affiliated third parties other than as permitted or required by law.
For example, MSG Personal Lines Agency, LLC may share all of the information
listed below with non-affiliated third parties for, including, but not limited
to, the following reasons:
- Information that is necessary to service or process the insurance needs
of our clients, in a manner that is consistent with the usual and customary
services provided by independent insurance agents. Such usual and customary
services or processes provided by MSG Personal Lines Agency, LLC to its
customers included but are not limited to underwriting, shopping the renewal,
rating, placement, and providing quotes for insurance that is germane to
the coverage the customer places with our agency.
- Information that is necessary to protect confidentiality or security
of our client’s records
- Information that is necessary to resolve client disputes or inquiries
- Information that is required by individuals or entities who are assessing
our legal compliance
- Information that is required for MSG Personal Lines Agency, LLC to comply
with the law
- To an actuarial or research organization for the purpose of conducting
actuarial or research studies
- Information that is necessary to protect against or prevent fraud, unauthorized
transactions, claims or other liability
- How we share client information with affiliated parties:
We do not share client information with any affiliate.

Producers are permitted to disclose nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated
third parties, regardless of whether a customer has opted out, under certain
circumstances including, but not limited, to the following:
- to effect, administer or enforce a transaction requested or authorized
by the consumer in connection with maintaining or servicing the consumer’s
account or servicing or processing financial product or service;
- to protect the confidentiality or security of the producer’s records
pertaining to the consumer;
- to protect against fraud;
- for risk control or to resolve customer disputes;
- to persons holding a legal interest relating to the customer;
- to persons acting in a fiduciary or representative capacity on behalf
of the consumer;
- to provide information to insurance rate advisory organizations, guaranty
funds or agencies;
- to law enforcement agencies, state insurance authorities or for investigations
on matters;
- to a consumer reporting agency in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting
Act;
- in connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, transfer or exchange
of all or a portion of a business or operating unit;
- to comply with federal, state or local laws, rules and other legal requirements;
- to comply with a properly authorized civil, criminal or regulatory investigation,
subpoena or summons; and
- with the consent or the direction of the consumer.
